Ilya Progogine, mathematical chemist (25/1/1917-28/5/2003)

I met I. Prigogine, Nobel Laureate in chemistry, when he visited Chelsea College and gave several talks on non-linear dynamics. He was the leading exponent of the application of this theory to chemical reactions, and other complex systems.
