Paul-André Meyer was a leading probabilist, with many deep results such as the Doob-Meyer decomposition. His recent work has been an original approach to quantum probability, described in his beautiful book, "Quantum Probability for Probabilists", Lecture Notes in Maths., 1538, Springer-Verlag, 1993.
Paul-André died on 30 Jan 2003.
