Demetris Ghikas was one of my first students to join me at Bedford College. His thesis work was on a rigorous formulation of supersymmetry. He has become interested in quantum estimation, and through this, in quantum information geometry. For the flavour of his ideas, see his contribution to the conference at Pescara, 2002.
