Freeman J. Dyson

I met Dyson in 1960 at the Institute of Advanced Study, Princeton. He struck me as a very modest man, but deep. I had written a paper criticising one of his, which he reminded me of when we spoke at his Schrodinger Lecture, Imperial College 1998. He is rather more famous for his discussions on the future of humanity; see his page .
