ABSTRACT

We discuss the possibility of generating dynamical selection rules in representations of the canonical commutation and anticommutation relations.

REMARKS

We illustrate the idea of Haag and Kastler that charge is a label for inequivalent representations of the algebra of observables. We argue that it is possible for Fermions to arise in a purely Bosonic theory, with the dynamics determined by that of the Bosons (now called bosonization) without introducing supersymmetry.
