Math-Soc and the Mathematics Department at King's College have organised these annual student weekend gatherings at Cumberland Lodge since 1956.
They are a great opportunity to learn about and enjoy facets of Mathematics that you would not normally come across in your curriculum - all in a spectacular setting, and yet a welcoming and relaxed environment, with good food provided. These weekends are also a great opportunity to meet, mingle and discuss with fellow students, staff, and speakers.
Topics covered during these weekends have included fun and recreational Mathematics, themes of current societal relevance, the role of Mathematics in the work place, science in the media, History or Philosophy of Mathematics, and more.
