MSc Entrance Requirements and Fees

The MSc programme in Financial Mathematics is intended for students or professionals with a strong mathematical background, and a BSc degree of first or upper second class in mathematics or an approved mathematics-based subject, or an equivalent qualification containing a substantial mathematics component. Applications are requested to include a detailed transcript and the syllabus details for mathematics modules taken. Note the information provided here.

The fees cover registration, tuition and examinations, access to libraries and computing facilities, and membership of the College Union of Students.

  • A small number of awards are made available by the University of London (Scholarships Office), for students with excellent first degree results.
  • Overseas applicants might obtain support via the British Council office in their own country.
