Disordered and Complex Systems, 10-14 July 2000
Accommodation

Accommodation for the conference will be provided at King's College's new "Great Dover Street Apartments", located near London Bridge, in central London.

address: 165 Great Dover St, London SE1 4YB
telephone: +44-(0)171-8730888 ext 8935
underground: Borough (northern line)

or London Bridge (jubilee line)

Accommodation will be in single rooms, with bathrooms and kitchens shared between small groups of rooms.

50 rooms will be available during the period Sunday 9 July - Sunday 16 July. Participants wishing to reserve one of these rooms should indicate this on the registration form. The inclusion of the night from Saturday 15 July to Sunday 16 July should ensure that participants can take advantage of cheap airfares (which normally require a Saturday night stay). Note that bookings can only be accepted for the whole week; bookings for shorter periods are not possible.

The cost for 7 days is 178.50. Participants who wish to book a room are requested to pay this charge together with the conference fee when they register.

London Bridge will be served by the Jubilee Line Extension to the underground, giving convenient connections to Westminster and Waterloo. The conference venue (the Strand site of King's College) is easily accessible from these stations: From Westminster, you can take the Underground to Temple (circle or district line, eastward); from Waterloo, you can either walk or take a bus over the bridge to the Strand. Detailed maps are available of the London Undergound network (288K), as well as of the Underground and its connections to rail (539K). See here for further information on transport.
